verapli, a product of VOCABOTICS LTD
Terms of Service
Last updated 24 October 2026
1. About us and these terms
verapli is a product of VOCABOTICS LTD (“Vocabotics”, “we”, “us”), a company registered in England and Wales with company number 17412438, whose registered office is at 128 City Road, London, EC1V 2NX, United Kingdom.
These terms apply when you use verapli.com, your verapli account, the public registry API, and — as they become available to you — the verapli browser extension and agent bridge (together, the “Service”). By creating an account, joining early access or paying for a plan, you agree to them. Contact us at support@verapli.com.
Some parts of these terms apply differently depending on whether you are a consumer (acting mainly outside your trade, business or profession) or a business. Where that matters, we say so. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer.
2. Early access
verapli is in early access and is not yet generally available. Features are still being built and will change. Early-access features are released in waves, so not every member gets every feature at the same time. We don’t promise a date for general availability.
“General availability” means the day the verapli extension is publicly listed and anyone can install it and complete a guided setup without an invitation. We will email Founding Members before that day.
3. What verapli does — and doesn’t do
- verapli guides you through creating accounts, getting API keys and passing verification with third-party providers. You make every submission, accept every set of terms and enter every payment detail yourself. verapli will not do these things for you.
- Providers decide whether to approve you and how long it takes. We can’t guarantee any approval, timescale or outcome, and we are not responsible for a provider’s decisions, delays, outages or changes to its rules.
- Your use of each provider is governed by your own agreement with that provider. You are responsible for complying with its terms. Our terms notes are plain-English summaries with links to the source; they are not legal advice.
- Registry data marked “preview” has not been through our verification process. Lead times are estimates.
4. Your account
You sign in with a one-time link sent to your email. Keep access to that mailbox secure; anyone who can read it can sign in as you. You must be at least 18 and give accurate information. Tell us straight away if you think someone else has accessed your account.
5. Plans, prices and payment
- Free features need no payment. Paid plans are subscriptions billed monthly or yearly in advance, through our payment provider Stripe, and renew automatically until you cancel.
- Prices are shown in pounds sterling and are the total you pay. VOCABOTICS LTD is not VAT-registered, so no VAT is added. Stripe sends a receipt for every payment.
- Founding Member price lock: if you subscribe as a Founding Member, your price stays the same for as long as your subscription stays active. If you cancel and later subscribe again, the price at that time applies.
- For other subscriptions, we may change prices by giving you at least 30 days’ notice by email before your next renewal. You can cancel before the change takes effect.
- If a payment fails, we’ll tell you and Stripe will retry. If it still fails, paid features may be paused until payment is made.
6. Cancellation and refunds
You can cancel any time from your account (“Manage billing”) or by emailing us. Cancellation stops future renewals; you keep paid features until the end of the period you’ve paid for. Our Refund & cancellation policy forms part of these terms and includes the Founding Member refund: before general availability, we refund every payment in full on request.
If you are a consumer, you also have a legal right to cancel within 14 days of buying a subscription (see the refund policy for how this works).
7. Licence keys and seats
Paid plans come with a licence key. It is personal to you (or, on Studio, to your organisation’s seats) and you must not share or resell it. We show it once and store only a hash; you can regenerate it from your account, which stops the old key working.
8. Acceptable use
You must not use the Service to:
- create fake, duplicate, bought or “aged” accounts, or get around a provider’s suspension or ban;
- give a provider false or misleading information about who you are or what your business does;
- break any law or any provider’s terms, or help someone else do so;
- try to bypass verapli’s safety controls (such as the rule that a human presses submit), our licence checks or our rate limits;
- probe, scan or attack our systems, except as allowed by our responsible disclosure policy; or
- copy the registry in bulk to build a competing database.
We may suspend or close accounts that break these rules. Where reasonable, we’ll warn you first.
9. Your data and your keys
verapli is designed so that provider API keys, your identity profile and your documents stay on your device and never reach our servers. Because we never hold them, we cannot recover them for you: keep your own backups of your .env files and vault export. How we handle the limited personal data we do hold is explained in our Privacy notice.
10. Agents
If you connect an AI agent to verapli, you are responsible for what you allow it to do. Agents can only act after you approve a pairing, and cannot submit, pay or receive secrets through verapli.
11. Public API
The public registry API is free and provided “as is”, with rate limits. We may change or withdraw preview endpoints. You may build on it, but please don’t present preview data as verified.
12. Intellectual property
We (and our licensors) own the Service, the registry and this website. We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use them under these terms. Provider names and trademarks belong to their owners; we use them only to describe what verapli helps with and are not affiliated with or endorsed by them. If you send us feedback, we may use it without obligation to you.
13. Changes and availability
We may update the Service, including to reflect provider changes, and we’ll aim to keep it running, but we can’t promise it will always be available or error-free. If we make a change that significantly reduces what a paid plan includes, you may cancel and receive a pro-rata refund for the unused period.
14. Our responsibility to you
Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for anything else that cannot be limited by law.
If you are a consumer: we are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our breaking these terms or failing to use reasonable care and skill. We are not responsible for business losses. If digital content we supply damages a device or digital content belonging to you because we did not use reasonable care and skill, we will repair the damage or pay compensation.
If you are a business: we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of profit, revenue, business, goodwill or data, and our total liability in any 12-month period is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in that period and £100. Implied terms are excluded to the extent the law allows.
In either case, we are not responsible for decisions, delays or actions of third-party providers, or for loss caused by keys or data you choose to share outside verapli.
15. Ending these terms
You can stop using the Service and ask us to delete your account at any time. We may end these terms by giving you 30 days’ notice, or immediately if you seriously break them. If we end them without cause, we’ll refund any unused period you’ve paid for.
16. Complaints, law and courts
If something goes wrong, email support@verapli.com and we’ll try to put it right. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. Consumers may bring claims in the courts of England and Wales, or of Scotland or Northern Ireland if they live there. Businesses agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
17. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. For material changes we’ll email you at least 30 days before they take effect; if you don’t agree, you can cancel before then.
